Born in London in 1944, I moved to Auckland, New Zealand, at the age of 34. I came to making art later in my life; it was always something I had shelved for the years when my families were able to look after themselves. I spent the year 2000 studying and received a Certificate in Visual Art from Manukau Institute of Technology. I then went on to Elam Auckland University for two years. I now reside in North shore City Auckland New Zealand and have recently had my first solo exhibition at NorthArt Gallery in Northcote, which was very successful with several pieces of work sold.
